A Mother's Day Recording:

To celebrate Mother's Day, this precious mother-daughter duo shared their hearts for one another and their family.

They were prompted by a granddaughter's request to record while her grandmother was in town visiting.

"This will be my Mother's Day present for them," she explained.  "I just want to honor my mother and grandmother in this way."

While recording, the grandmother shared how she met her husband-to-be at a friend's house one evening.

"He agreed to walk me home," she explained.  "We dated the rest of that week, and he asked me to marry him!"

"Recording was wonderful!  It took you back in time." ~Debbie

Recording on the Farm:

This spring, one authentic couple recorded outdoors on the family farm.  Framed by the crowing of roosters and the chirping of crickets, this missionary family magically transports their listeners around the globe.

Their honest reflection of life as Bible translators in South America is as refreshing as a grandmother's truth and holds as much wisdom.

They preserved their memories for their five children who know very little about their parent's "hippie years" and life overseas.

"Thank you Capsule of Life for this life changing experience!  Thanks for this Window on Life." ~ Thomas

The Recording a Lifetime:

Having grown up in England before settling in America, this precious mother recorded stories of her childhood.

By weaving together the details of her warm family home, traditional boarding school experiences, and youthful interests, she delightfully crafted her retelling.

Stories of her British family members are included for generations too young to have met them.

We recorded on International Women's Day!  How appropriate for this international woman.  Listen below to hear one lovely British accent:

"I've always wanted to write a book but I never will.  This will be my alternative!"  ~Aureol

Remembering the Greatest Generation:

One daughter asked her father to share his life story in the recording studio.  She wanted to have his story to share with future generations.

Born in the Depression era, her father recalls his early life in poverty, his life as a soldier during the Korean War, and his marriage of over sixty years.

Copies of his intimate retelling were given to close family members at a holiday dinner.

"I'm thrilled to be able to record with you, Dad."    ~Rosemary

Celebrating a Father's Birthday:

Two sisters celebrated their father's 83rd birthday with him in the recording studio.  They were prompted to record by the desire to preserve their family history and learn more about their father, "Every time I'm with him I hear something I've never heard before," Sandy shared.

Clarkie's life in prison ministry was filled with surprise, challenges, and passion.  Most importantly, he spoke of the deep love he had for the prisoners.

His girls wanted to make certain we captured his strong singing voice!  Listen below to hear a favorite hymn.

“I feel like we just had a moment every family wishes they had!"  ~Sandy

“I was surprised how easy it was. I didn’t want to stop recording. It was so quiet and peaceful.”  ~Rhonda
